Video Arena Is Live on Web
Video Arena is now available at: lmarena.ai/video!
What started last summer as a small Discord bot experiment has grown into something much more substantial. It quickly became clear that this wasn’t just a novelty for generating fun videos—it was a rigorous way to measure and understand how frontier video models perform with real-world use.
We’re incredibly grateful to our Discord community for the bug reports and feedback that helped us refine the experience along the way. Discord was the right place to test the idea, but it also limited who could participate.
Bringing Video Arena to lmarena.ai opens participation to a broader audience. That matters because the quality and representativeness of the data depends on who is contributing. Broader access leads to a wider range of prompts, languages, and use cases, making the leaderboard more reflective of real-world performance.
What’s available today
The web launch today is with Battle Mode. Battle Mode is the easiest way to test and understand how models perform against each other. 15 top frontier video models are ready for you straight away, including top frontier models like Google's Veo 3, Sora 2, Seedance v1.5 Pro, Kling-2.6-pro, WAN-2.5, and Hailuo-2.3. We'll be working quickly to add more features, modes, and models. You may even discover the next big AI model under a codename before it releases to the public.
How to use Video Arena on web
Head over to lmarena.ai/video, enter a prompt (or upload an image and add a prompt), and you will get two generations back from two anonymous models. Watch the videos and vote for the one you prefer. That vote contributes to one of the two Video Arena leaderboards:
Download the videos to use for your projects or workflows, and feel free to share them! Keep in mind that you’ll need to log in to generate on the website. Learn more about how it all works in our Help Center article here.
How does this affect the leaderboards?
As Video Arena grows on the web, you may see some movement over time in scores and rankings. That’s expected. Web usage will expand the audience of who can test their use cases. More prompt styles will come in, language distribution will be broader, and we’ll get more votes for the leaderboard.
We'll start to refresh and update the Video leaderboard pipeline to start merging the web experience data to capture everyone's prompts moving forward.
